AUGUST 2009

4WARD Invited to attend an interactive session with Mr Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of the Organising Committee for Commonwealth Games 2010

4WARD was invited to join Mr Kalmadi and a number of his senior management team along with a selected number of other industry leaders in the Global Sporting Events sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities in relation to the Commonwealth Games in 2010. "This was a great opportunity to met the Senior Management team for the Delhi Games and have an opportunity to have private discussions as to the challenges and opportunities facing them, we were honored to have been invited to participate in such an exclusive event" declared Eloy Mazon, 4WARD PPM Managing Director.

4WARD Appointed to carry out risk assessment on a Global Sporting Event.

4WARD has been appointed to develop a quantified risk assessment to support the migration from bid to operational modes for another Global Sporting Event in Europe. "These are very exciting times at 4WARD and it is very gratifying to see that all the knowledge and experience accumulated over the years in this sector is being recognize by Organising Committees for the Games worldwide when looking for expert advise on key strategic issues relating to their delivery programme" declared Peter Morrow, 4WARD PPM Head of Major Sporting Events.

4WARD Appointed to deliver security business case for a Global Major Sporting Event

4WARD has been appointed to develop a major business case for the security of a global sporting event. This assignment will require 4WARD to deliver the business case and secure the funding in tight timescale. 4WARD Becomes a Partner of the Major Events International (MEI)Association

MEI is the fastest growing association for major international events and as stated by Dr Peter Ryan (Security Advisor to the IOC) “Major Events International is meeting a need which is long overdue. To win and host a major event demands people with the right experience and appropriate technology and services to ensure they are run safely and securely, and represent the best value for money”.

4WARD has become a partner of MEI in further show of its commitment to the Major Sporting Events sector and to further enhance its international presence in this sector.

4WARD's MD appoint to Association for Project Management (APM) industry panel

The APM as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining standards and delivering quality has appointed an industry panel to review their international publication "Project" and offer feedback on its content and quality. 4WARD's MD has been appointed as a member of this panel which will review on a monthly basis project management issues and needs and how these are covered by the publication. "It is an honor to be part of this new panel and I look forward to work with the APM and other panel members", declared Eloy Mazon, 4WARD PPM Managing Director.

4WARD Delivers Corporate Plan for a Leading London Health Trust

4WARD delivered as planned the annual corporate plan on behalf of a major North London Health Trust. The plan was approved by the Trust Board at the first time of asking and duly submitted to the regulator for final approval "It was a challenging task given the timescale available to deliver it and the current economic climate but working in partnership with the Trust we delivered a robust and comprehensive plan that will enable the trust to deliver on it's stated strategic objectives whilst at the same time staying on track with government mandated efficiency savings targets that will safeguard the future of the Trust" Stuart Brown, 4WARD PPM Director.

4WARD Attends the London Chamber of Commerce Annual Security and Defense Dinner

4WARD was invited to attended the prestigious Annual Defense and Security dinner hosted at the Imperial War museum; the keynote speech was given by the Secretary of State for Defense. Managing Director Eloy Mazon, accompanied by Chairman Colin Palmer represented 4WARD.

Madrid is one of the 4 Candidate cities for the 2016 Olympic games. 4WARD has been appointed to support their team with security matters relating to the Olympic Bid."This is a unique opportunity for us and we are delighted and very honored to have been asked to support the Madrid bid for the 2016 Olympics", declared Eloy Mazon, 4WARD PPM Managing Director.

4WARD is appointed by a London Health Trust to develop their Business Continuity and Emergency plans

4WARD has been appointed by a leading London Health Trust to review and update their business continuity and emergency plans. "We are delighted by the trust placed on us by the Health Trust and we look forward to work closely with their BC&CM team in the development of these plans" , declared Eloy Mazon, 4WARD's Managing Director.

4WARD attended SportAccord annual International Sports Convention in Denver Colorado

4WARD exhibited as part of the UK Trade & Investment Pavilion at this prestigious Global Sporting event. SportAccord its an annual meeting of all International Sports Federations, members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Olympic committees, bidding and host cities, event organizing committees and businesses. "This was an excellent opportunity to meet with international clients and to exchange knowledge with key industry players", declared Colin Palmer, 4WARD's Chairman.

4WARD has been appointed by a UK NDPB to develop their Information Security Business Case and to design, develop and implement the overall Corporate Security Governance in accordance with the newly launch HMG Security Policy Framework

4WARD has completed the threat assessment for a main UK public body. In delivering this assignment 4WARD had to manage a large number of security stakeholders and balance the need to mitigate threat with cost and operational impacts to the organisation.
